Poem

"Are you Russians the boys said seeing us strange/ easy in grace by a poster with bicycles/ soft voices in a Baroque and Byzantine slum"

Profile

She works in porn. She produces it, although it is pretty "vanilla" for her taste, pretty "so a cable guy walks in..." She can't star in the films because she has tattoos. She moved here two days ago, from Albuquerque. She has a mohawk, more stylized than punk, but thats how most porno-company employees would describe themselves. She had boots and a black, sequined top. She had to leave the party in Williamsburg a little early to walk home. She didn't have money for cab or subway fare. She lives in Spanish Harlem. Her name is Max.

"Celebs"

Sasha was, of course, the highlight of this week, although I spotted enough "celebrities" this week to want to write them down before I forgot. (I call them "celebrities" because most are reality "stars" that will soon fall into obscurity). Anyhow, we had John Mayer at La Esquina, who got called a douchebag taxi mobile bitch by a certain papier mache-ist. Then, at fashion week, the onslaught of Bravo media whores - Alex & Simon from Real Housewives: NYC befriended me, Jay McCarroll was a particular favorite and the most exhilarating of my former ProjRun obsessions, to add to the list, though, I saw Kara (with her cute new-born), Santino (who I awkwardly followed into the bathroom), Jack (the one with HIV, I saw a couple times), Stella (who was cunty towards me),  Elisa, Laura, Daniel Vosovic, Nick Verreos (who is incredibly loud), and Sweet P. Not to mention Rami and Jillian, who a few seasons ago were showing at Bryant Park, were now stopped at the door and asked for credentials until someone told the guard they were on TV. Classic. Also, I saw the lovely Tim Gunn make an appearance for his many fans. And Nina Garcia who was surprisingly nice when we complimented her outfit. Other Bravo whores I saw included Ronnie and Jackie from make me a super model - both of whom were unimpressive and unimportant. Also, spotted was the incomparable Ms. Jay from ANTM, who was surprisingly low key. So, the only A-Lister I saw at the tents was Sasha. Everyone else sucked but was funny to watch. We stood outside Zac Posen and watched the live broadcast of pretty much every amazing model ever walk down in the incrediby boring Posen line. As well, I was able to sneak into a couple of shows (one of which featured Hye Park(!) and Eniko Mihalik). They were Aurelio Costare, Tadashi Shoji, Sabyasachi, and Thuy. Also, these experiences just keep coming back to me, we went to the Ralph Lauren show off-site and saw The Sartorialist at work in a crowd of the chic-est, if not most up-tight people of all time. Bruce Weber was also there, a plus, along with just a lot of important people.

However, this week continued to prove itself as wonderful celeb-spotting because we wondered across the Gossip Girl set on Rivington this week and gave Leighton Meester a rose and Ed Westwick a stare-down.

Then, last night, to further indulge my reality TV fantasies, I spotted Kahlen from ANTM outside the bar where she worked. The other papier-mache-ist, equally as bold and as fashionable, went up to her and told her she should have one (TRUE). I followed his lead and we both got kisses on the lips from the less-wholesome and less-all-american Kahlen, now with dyed hair and tattooed all over.

So, yeah, if I remember anything else I'll let you know.

Blowjob

Okay, so I know that Andy Warhol is cliché and gross and the subject of far too much Myspace fodder (Fuck you, Murdoch!), but, I do believe, there is a reason for his disgusting over-exposure. Just like rumors and stereotypes and dreams are based in some truth, so are bad reputations. And, of course, I hate Andy Warhol...

But, come on, this shit is genius.

What I'm buying to be more like the feature of the previous post...
